Light age-toning to the inner hinge area as usual, slight rub-wear to the upper and lower spine edges and corner tips, else square, firm and very good in black linen-textured boards with blind embossed fedora-donned man with hands-up 'Gilt Edged Mystery' insignia to the front cover and with gilt insignia, titles, rules, and panel with reverse black titles to the spine; in a very good dust jacket with short shelf-edge tears, slight dust-soiling to the rear panel, short tears and nicks to the upper and lower flap folds, tiny surface nick at the rear spine fold, and with very small chips, tears, and rubbing to the upper and lower spine ends; original printed $2.50 price still intact to the front inner flap.
