Almagels indicated in all cases associated with increased production of acid in the stomach and pain, for example, with
- stomach and duodenal ulcers;
- acute gastritis (inflammation of the stomach lining);
- chronic gastritis with normal or hypersecretion;
- hiatal hernia (diaphragmatic hernia);
- reflux esophagitis (a condition in which stomach acid returns from the stomach to the esophagus)
- gastroduodenitis (inflammation of the lining of the stomach and duodenum);
- heartburn;
- intestinal disorders;
- for the prevention of bleeding from stomach and duodenal ulcers;
- other gastrointestinal disorders and complications associated with the use of the drug.
USE
Depending on the state of the disease, use 1-2 scoops (1 scoop - 5 ml) 3-4 times a day (½ hour before meals and in the evening before bedtime). For duodenal ulcers and some types of stomach ulcers, Almagel A can be taken between meals. For prophylaxis, before taking irritants of the gastrointestinal tract, 1-2 tablespoons of Almagel A should be used.
