This listing is for the early photograph album shown. Book measures approx 7"x8.5"x2" x1.5". Nice to get a good sturdy book album too!
There are a couple of nice fabric (maybe silk?) period ribbons used as bookmarks.
The cover is nice and secure and intact. The velvet is wearing away as usual. Nice die cut metal fancy ALBUM ornament on cover. 2 bend or creases on this piece as shown. Ornate side metal clasp works. Shiny gold page edges. Nice frame pages. Mandy with a clean slit tear from previously removing photos. Title page 2/3 tearing out. Some antique wear.
Mostly the photos that we have seen are from Reading Pennsylvania from Strunk photographer and one from Columbia and one from Pottstown. We can not confirm each photo. We have not see an ID of family names, though we did not remove the photos. Usually, these photos have prominent families of the era. Most photos are excellent condition. Some have some antique wear.
