Puckett, the Hitler-like dictator of Rock- land, had plans to conquer Sunland, the only other nation in the world. 

To stop the tyrant, scientists produced sympathone, a love-inducing drug, which they secretly administered to the populace.

But the S-project failed. Puckett and his warmongers were unaffected by the drug. 

And only one young scientist could prevent Puckett from destroying the last survivors on earth.
