ReplacementRadios, one of the largest factory audio/video websites, has branched out!!   If you’ve been to our site, you know we have a HUGE selection of OEM radios and compatible accessories.  Now we’re offering a few select products here too.  Same great ReplacementRadios quality.....in a new location.

DETAILS
These are replacement plugs for original factory GM 14/16-pin radios without XM, rear video, and/or OnStar. (Technically you can still use these plugs if you have one or more of those options but a professional installer would need to load more wires into the plugs or move some of the existing ones.)

Please ignore the color of the wires in these plugs, to a certain extent. They will not match your factory wiring and the manufacturer uses wires they have pre-printed for other applications, so the colors and purpose of the wire will not necessarily match what is indicated or what aftermarket standard usually means. Please also note: Because the same plugs were used for multiple LAN systems, you may have to move or add wires in some instances. We highly recommend the use of a professional installer because of this.

Wiring pigtails of approximately 6 inches are attached. These would be spliced into your existing harness. You would need these plugs if your factory plugs have been removed from the vehicle and you're trying to install a factory radio.

There was more than one wiring configuration for 14/16 plugs in GM vehicles, so some wires may need moved in the plug. We HIGHLY recommend a professional installer, since movement of some wires might be required for your application. See the PIN-OUT INFO section below for more information.

This style of plug was used on many Buick, Chevy, GMC, Oldsmobile, Pontiac and Saturn radios that were approximately 4 3/8 inches tall, starting in 2006. Some vehicles used a different version, so make sure your radio part number and/or vehicle are listed in this ad. See APPLICATIONS below for examples of vehicles that used these plugs. Here is a list of GM radio part numbers known to use these plugs:

We HIGHLY recommend the involvement of a professional installer, as some wires may need relocated or added. GM used these plugs in multiple LAN systems and the wiring was different in each. Different wire colors were often used too. In other words, please be aware that you might have to track down the function of each wire on your harness and do research regarding pin assignment before wiring this plug up. Do not assume the wires in these will match your colors or that the color (or print) of them is a true indicator of what that wire is for. Another reason to involve a professional installer.

APPLICATIONS

SHIPPING, HANDLING & RETURNS

  • Shipping cost is based on weight and zip code.  This site does the figuring, not us.  If you feel their calculation is high, you might be underestimating the package weight and/or current shipping costs from our zip code (62401) to yours.  Please don't ding us for shipping in the ratings, as we have no control over ever-increasing carrier rates.
  • We will enter a tracking number into your order details here on the site.  They will email it to you if your notification preferences are set correctly.
  • A signature is not typically required. If you are not home to receive the package, it will most likely be left at your door.  Please monitor it's progress and arrange to collect it when it arrives.
  • This site provides a section/tab in each ad for Shipping information.  We encourage you to check that section for prices, methods, time-frames, etc.
