This vintage greeting card from Sanrio features the adorable Mao Nian (Rabbit) character, dressed up as Santa Claus to celebrate the 1999 Zodiac year. Made of paper, the card measures 6.5" in length and 4.5" in width, and is perfect for sending warm holiday greetings to your loved ones. The card is unsigned and is a collectible item that would make a great addition to any Sanrio or animation merchandise collection.

Sanrio has been producing greeting cards in Japan as early as 1969, years before their most famous character, Hello Kitty, came to life. Since then, they’ve released hundreds of variations of greeting cards each year. At one point in the early 2000's they actually had a website for their cards--but it is no longer around.
