Large PRIMITIVE pole axe type tool.  I believe this is a bank clearing tool.  Made for clearing brush around water areas or ditches.  Im sure it could be used for just about anything.  The blade is nice and strong so it should have many uses.  It will chop through some pretty thick growth for sure.

Some surface age on blade as it is a primitive.  Nice and straight wood.   No cracks in the handle.  Couple chips on the very bottom.
