Germination
To germinate Solanum quitoense (Lulo) seeds, start by soaking them in warm water overnight. Then, fill a seed tray with a well-draining potting mix and sow the seeds on the surface, lightly covering them with a thin layer of soil. Keep the tray in a warm location (around 70-75°F or 21-24°C) and ensure the soil remains consistently moist. Germination can take 2-4 weeks. Once the seedlings emerge, provide bright indirect light and gradually acclimate them to outdoor conditions. Transplant them into larger pots or outdoors when they have several true leaves.
