B&G Town plate featuring the Town Seal of Hjorring, a city (population ~61,000) in Denmark located on Jutland, about halfway between Aalborg and Skagen at the northern tip of Jutland.

From the excellent book on Bing & Grondahl and Royal Copenhagen plates by Lars Christoffersen (Schiffer, 2004) we have this information:

The Bing & Grondahl Town plates are high quality plates that were produced in 1894 and 1895. Each one is hand painted using a stencil. Each artist left their unique signature on every plate.

The idea for the Town plates originated with Effie Hegermann-Lindencrone, one of the foremost and beloved porcelain painters/designers of that time. Hegermann-Lindencrone used city seals (City Coats of Arms, or “Insignia Civit”) as her inspiration for designing the plates.

The quantity produced of each plate is unknown, but the fact that they are hand painted by the best painters suggests that they were produced in a very limited quantity. Over 70 different Town plates are known at this time.

THIS plate was hand-painted and signed by Effie Hegermann-Lindencrone. Her monogram, a stylized EHL, can be seen in this close-up photo, lower left.
Diameter 24 cm (just under 9 1/2 inches). Pierced foot for hanging wire. Appropriately marked on the back, including the three tower trademark of Bing & Grondahl. The 2004 Book Value for each plate was $300 to $500. The background color of this porcelain plate is nearly pure white even though the photo may make it appear otherwise.
