The front cover is an illustration of six children watching a Punch and Judy puppet show.

The workbook provides exercises in grammar starting with the sentence, working through different parts of speech, punctuation, writing a paragraph and a letter, and correct usage of commonly confused words. 

As a bonus, although the exercises are printed, examples are sometimes written in cursive.  The book also gives excerpts of age appropriate literature to lure the student into reading. On the last page, it has a list of the 32 rules taught in the workbook.

The workbook is in good condition.  The edges and covers of the book have some discoloration.  There is a name written on the front cover.  No exercises have been completed; there is no writing in the book.
