The product is an Inlet Valve Assembly, an OEM Replacement Part, used in LG washing machines. This valve is made of durable molded plastic. It interacts with solenoids to regulate the water flow during wash cycles. If a washer fills improperly, continues to fill after reaching the fill point, or fills when not in use, it indicates that the valve may need replacement. Error codes from the washer can also signal a faulty valve.

The replacement process involves disconnecting the power and water sources. Then remove the back panel and water hoses. From there, detach wires from the solenoid, and install the new valve. Once installed, the solenoid and hoses are reconnected, the back panel is replaced, and power and water are restored for testing. It's worth noting that dismantling and cleaning the valve is not recommended due to potential failure risk. This valve is explicitly designed for LG washers.
