This sale is for a colorful Vernon Kilns Topeka, KS, Centennial Ceramic Collector's Plate Ceramic Collector's Plate. It is hand-painted and has the artist's name, Paul L. Davidson, on the right side. It shows scenes of Topeka between 1854 and 1954. Included is the first home built, the State Capitol and Kansas Avenue. The plate, in the Ultra shape, features Sunflowers, the state flower, around the edges, It was made exclusively for Crosby Bros in Topeka. It measures 10 1/2 inches across. No chips, cracks or breaks. See photographs for condition issues.
