Silicone Bronze casting 16.50" tall, 22" long, 7" deep.
Black Granite 12" x 2" round base is included, the sculpture is mounted to the base, but can be removed.
"Unhinged" was created in 2022, and was exhibited at the American Academy of Equine Art Fall Show , where it won the "Founder's Award" (highest honor) for Sculpture. It is a mare, switching directions of her gallop in mid stride, creating a fantastic frozen moment rarely depicted in horse sculpture.
The patina (surface finish) is a painterly application of warm brown tones, with the bronze showing through. Absolutely gorgeous and very unique to the classical dark brown you normally see on horse sculpture. This piece glows with rich color and has a protective wax coating.

There is also an "artist Proof" casting, unnumbered, but that has been sold.

My bronze prices for commissioned work are very competitive, and I work closely with the foundry. I do the majority of the labor in producing each piece.

When commissioning a sculpture, as contracted, the client will be part of the process from the beginning clay work, on through the bronze casting process.
