THIS WEEK: our cover is the design of Irene Aronson, a young artist who deserted a musical career to illustrate French and German magazines. Her work will this year be shown in Berne and Paris.
We are glad to publish the substance of an interview with Anthony A. Bliss, President of the Metropolitan Opeia Association, who has promised to share with OPERA NEWS readers all future developments of importance relating to Lincoln Center.
In listing the casts of the Metropolitan's spring tour on page 30 we have purposely deleted news of Baltimore and Boston, which has been published in the issues of March 25, April 1 and the second cover of the present issue.
