Description
This is a wonderful vintage Corning Ware Pyroceram 10" casserole dish with lid, plus a handle to convert it into a skillet. Such a nice, versatile, piece!
Made in the USA.
I believe it dates to the 60s.
It is made of patented Pyrcoceram, a "glass-ceramic" material that was developed by Corning Ware in the 1950s. It is an opaque white glass material that has a high heat resistance and low thermal expansion.
This piece is in the Cornflower pattern - the classic blue flower on white.
This piece includes:
The casserole Dish
Lid with Knob
Detachable handle to convert the piece to a skillet.
10" square not including tab handles.
About 12" across including handles.
In very good condition - it has some light stains in the inside bottom of the dish.
Otherwise, exceptionally nice. No chips, cracks, or any other damage.
From a smoke-free home.
