Beautiful historic burnt bamboo easel that is perfect as an art display.  The tray measures 24" across so I think it would easily hold a 36" wide piece of art.  It is generally structurally sound with a few minor issues.  The chains on the support leg need replaced - only a partial piece of 1 remains.  The support leg itself slides through the bamboo that it is pierced through, and that pierced piece has a significant crack that is allowing the movement. Perhaps a stopper could be put in place here?

Also, please note that as this is a one of a kind handmade piece, it is not perfectly symmetrical -- the easel tray sticks out 2.5" on one side and 3.5" on the other.  It would easily accomodate a 2.5 inch deep art piece.
