Turkish M1935 AS.FA Mauser Knife Bayonet, Scabbard & Frog, G Stamp on Pommel End

As a new student of war history and weaponry, it seems that the M1935 bayonet is one of many storied tales, leaving each find a unique mystery to unravel. This one is no different. As an original and authentic piece of militaria from Turkey, it's perfect for collectors or enthusiasts, and a unique addition to any collection of WWII original items or militaria.

This 1930's era Turkish M1935 AS.FA stamped Mauser Knife Bayonet comes with it's original scabbard and frog. It's also serialized and stamped on the crossguard with 18825.

The fuller ends far before the knife end, having me think this was a newly produced M1935 bayonet instead of one that was cut down or constructed from other bayonets.

The end of the handle of the knife bayonet features a stamp of the letter G, which adds to its mystery and authenticity. I'm not sure if that's the only letter that was stamped into the pommel's or if other lettering has worn away in battle. Perhaps someone with more knowledge will know. It certainly is curious since I could not find any info about it.

This Turkish M1935 AS.FA Mauser Knife Bayonet is a rare find and a must-have for anyone interested in militaria. Plus, having retained its original scabbard and frog, certainly contributes to the overall value of this piece.
