Steve Martin reprises his role as the bumblingly incompetent Inspector Clouseau, scourge of the underworld, in this sequel directed by Harald Zwart. After a series of daring robberies around the world, in which rare treasures including the Pink Panther diamond are stolen, Chief Inspector Dreyfuss (John Cleese) assigns Clouseau to a team of international detectives, including Andy Garcia and Alfred Molina, given the task of catching the intrepid thief.
