In 1969, rock group Deep Purple joined with Malcolm Arnold and the London Symphony Orchestra to perform their 'Concerto for Group and Orchestra' - the score for which was lost in the years that followed. However, in September 1999, thirty years after the original performance, Deep Purple once again joined with the LSO to perform a reconstructed and rescored version of the piece, which had been painstakingly recreated by Dutch composer Marcode Goeij from watching videos of the original, aided by the conductor for the new performance, Paul Mann. The results are recorded here, alongside such classic rock tracks as 'Love is All' and 'Smoke on the Water'. Please note this DVD is region 2 and will only work in the following regions Japan, Europe, South Africa, the Middle East (including Egypt) and Greenland, Unless you have a multi-regional DVD Player.
