Cinderella Pumpkin (Cucurbita maxima) is an old French heirloom that is ideal for baking/cooking and also excellent for Halloween decorations. Introduced to the US in 1883, this annual will grow up to 25 lbs with deep ribs and a flattened shape. If you want to grow for Halloween, be sure to start your seeds in early to mid-summer so your pumpkins will mature in the fall
