Primitive butcher knife.  IT IS SIGNED ON THE HANDLE BUT I CANT MAKE IT OUT.  MAY BE WORTH MUCH MORE THAN I AM ASKING.  Carbon steel with wood handle and BRASS PINS.  12.5" total length!  The blade is 7 7/8".

The mark looks to be 4 or 5 letters followed by a number 8. (xxxft-8)

RIGHT FROM A FARM ESTATE SALE!

Light signs of age and use.  No cracks on handle.  Sharp blade.  Still nice and tight.

Great display or even use.

It will be protected well and insured.
