Golden Crown E&R lidded beer stein made in W. Germany. There is a faded shield shaped label near the handle which can still be read with a magnifier. I believe the date on it is 1986. The stein is 5-1/4" tall, not including the lid. The metal lid has the number 63 and DBGM stamped inside. The bottom of the stein shows Germany and the number 4. The stein has the German phrase "Bei Bier und Scherz bleibt jung das herz". Excellent condition.
