This is 12 Inch 5 Chira Kukri(khukuri). The blade is made up of highly graded carbon steel (Car and jeep leaf spring, 5160). The blade is a 12-inch long semi-polished blade, it’s a full tang blade with Indian rosewood and water buffalo bone. The handle is 6 inches long made up of rosewood and bone with two rivets and glue up together by traditional Nepali glue called Laha. The overall length is 18 inches. The Scabbard is made up of water buffalo leather.The hardness of the steel used in the kukri is 22-25 RC, belly: 45-46 RC, edge: 58-60 RC. The materials used in the custom kukri is Highly Graded Carbon Steel, (car & Jeep leaf spring, 5160). The kukri is 5 Chira means it has been bitten five more times than normal kukri. Therefore the kukri is 5 more times stronger than other kukris.
