Mr. Spock and Capt. Kirk are both featured in small photos on the wild "robot battle" front cover , which introduces the book length tale "DARK TRAVELER." This is from the very first Star Trek comic book series , which was published by Gold Key. The story itself is superb, being the tale of a nomadic brother who leaves paradise, only to return and find it ruled by his evil sibling (who has put the populace under the command of robot taskmasters). This is one of our all time favorite Star Trek tales (and we have been Trek fans since the original 1960s TV series). The plot mixes many elements brilliantly, and expresses them through engaging characterization. CONDITION: is close to brand new. The book is flat, glossy and brilliantly colorful, with nice pages. We grade it VERY FINE- .
