Postcard Salt Lake City Utah Babies Joaquin Miller Bulletin Antique 1910 RARE
Features:
Nice antique original postcard
Features "Utah's Best Crop" babies. Based on an article written by Joaquin Miller in the San Francisco Bulletin that read: "When President Roosevelt was on his Western trip in 1903 the women of Salt Lake seemed to extend the most unique welcome. In that city they greeted the Chief with thousands of babies in their arms. The pink faced infants cooed a welcome at Mr. Roosevelt that filled his big heart with joy, and doubtless if he were called upon to deice as to the city to which belonged the honor of the most appreciated entertainment, he would have decided in favor of Salt Lake."
