The body is ceramic.

The Christmas-tree-type plastic "gem" lights number in the dozens and are faceted plastic.

Made by hand individually at the Gargoylery Studios in North Carolina. 

Hand signed and dated.

The on-off switch is a pull-chain in his back.  See pic.

10 Inches Tall x 6.5 Inches at it's widest.

The flickering of the lights in the video is not visible to the eye. It is the result of two different types of electrical power, the 60 cycle of the household current and whatever the camera is using.
