A Type 300 series stainless-steel reinforcing plate has been incorporated into Simpson Strong-Tie's award-winning EB-TY Hidden Deck-Fastening System to enhance stiffness to keep boards in place firmly while maintaining flexibility during seasonal contraction and expansion. The system that results from combining this novel new design with our EB-GUIDE predrilling equipment not only delivers hidden strength but is also simple to install and is the perfect deck installation solution.
- Patented EB-GUIDE predrill guide provides precise fastener angle alignment for consistent biscuit installations. Stainless-steel reinforced biscuit provides strength and increased pullover resistance
- Underside keel provides consistent fastener positioning. Radius sides and chamfered edges provide easier alignment and faster installation
- Type 316 stainless-steel trim-head, 6-lobe screws with black-painted heads provide a concealed finish and blend in with EB-TY biscuit. Decking thickness: 3/4 in.
- Spacing requirement: 3/32 in. Use for 3/4-in. or greater wood with moisture content greater than air dry (approx. 19%)
