The X Men started out as a comic book, transferred to their own action-packed cartoon show and then onto the big screen and comes full circle in this comic-book adaption of their first movie adventure.
Rather than a simple straightforward retelling of the movie, this collection also includes other tales of the amazing mutants.
The warped Magneto, leader of the Brotherhood of Mutants, is after a young mutant girl called Rogue who is able to absorb the powers of anyone she touches. Magneto wants to give her his powers so she can operate his mutating machine that will transform human beings into mutants themselves, thus ending the bigotry and hatred Magneto and his cohorts' fear.
It's up to Professor X and his team of heroic X Men, including weathergirl Storm and the claw-handed Wolverine, to stop them.
