This is a lovely abalone and sterling butterfly brooch. Outlined in silver with silver lines on the wings, the butterfly has iridescent abalone between the silver.



The brooch measures 2.75" wide and long. Marked Mexico - Sterling Silver - 925 - and a signature I can't quite make out.



The clasp is sturdy and intact. In excellent vintage condition, the pin weighs 8g.
