The Bellow is an OEM component compatible with Whirlpool washing machine doors. Located around the perimeter of the washer door opening, this flexible seal creates a barrier that helps prevent water, detergent and moisture from leaking during cycles.

Causes of a bad bellow can include cracks or tears resulting from normal flexing of the seal material over many years of washing machine use. Physical damage or warping from external impacts affecting the seal are also possible.

Symptoms of a bad bellow include:

• Water or liquid leaks visible around the door opening
• Door not properly insulating and sealing the wash tub interior
• Detergent or minerals residue building up due to leakage
• Seal bulging, cracked or pulled away from the door frame

This genuine Whirlpool replacement restores optimized insulation and retention of water inside the wash tub where it is needed. Compatible with some Maytag and select Kenmore washer doors as well.
