You may take pills but that doesn't mean everyone that enters your house needs to know about it, like with those unsightly plastic pill containers. The outside dimensions are approximately 7"L x 2 3/4"W x 1 1/2"H
The inside dimensions of each compartment are approx. 13/16" deep x 11/16" wide x 1-5/8" long.
You can fit a quantity of about 30 Aleve caplets into each compartment.
Many vitamins and medications deteriorate when exposed to light. This box provides storage in a dark environment. To use the box, simply slide the lid to expose the day of the week with the pills you want and tip them out onto your hand, holding the lid over the compartments you don't want tipped. The top of the box slides on the bottom and is held in place by rare earth magnets. Your pills and vitamins will stay securely in the box.
No stains have been used. The individuality of wood grain may cause a slight variance of colouring from the photos shown. Each box is solid hardwood, which means there is nothing to break. The box will last a lifetime. All boxes are made with new wood. Reclaimed/recycled woods can be toxic and should never be used in food products such as cutting boards, utensils or boxes where food can be stored.
The outside of the Pill Box has been finished with Lacquer similar to what is used on wood furniture like kitchen tables. Smooth to the touch, simply wipe with a damp cloth if it becomes dirty. The inside has been finished with Mineral Oil and the pill compartments left as bare wood for no strong smells. If the oil starts to wear off then apply a new coat of regular cooking oil.
As wood is a natural living product it can be a little unruly; knots, streaking, other blemishes and flaws in the grain can occur during the natural growth of the tree. These may be present in all our products to some degree but we do control for anything that will seriously interfere with the use or look of our items. We at Masterpiece Lasered Wood, the home of the famous "Wonky" furniture design believe these imperfections add a uniqueness to our products and LOVE us some rebellious wood grain or an interesting knot here or there that doesn't interfere with the use of the item.
