Original from  East Asia it is not as know as the other species of ludwigia but it is a great addition to any tank due to its quite easy requirements  and beautiful pink-orange colors.  The plant got its name from the shape of its leafs that resemble an oval shape. It has the same requirements as the widely know  ludwigia repens
