This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE PAIR of EARRINGS that was made in the LATE VICTORIAN PERIOD of c1880. They are HANDMADE from 18K GOLD & STERLING SILVER TOPPED. The earrings are set with 26 OLD MINE CUT DIAMONDS of G - H color, SI to I clarity (eye clean) that weigh approx. 3.35 carats!

The earrings are detailed with 2 synthetic RED RUBIES that weigh approx. 1.80 carats each. The rubies are faceted oval shapes of fine quality and color - Synthetic colored stones of this size where common for the period and are prohibitively expensive in this size and color in the natural state, if even available at all. The earrings measure 1-5/16” long, including the wire, by just over 9/16” at the widest point. The total weight is 7.6 grams.
