Vintage Brown Betty Redware Teapot Moriage Enamel Hand Painted Made In Japan.

Teapot is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. The flange in the inside of the lid has been broken off and there is a small chip in the glaze on the underside of the lid as well. Neither can be seen when the lid is in the teapot. See photos.

Teapot measures 5 1/2” tall with the lid on. It has an approximate diameter of 4 1/2” and a depth of 3 1/2”.

Our home is a smoke free environment however as most items are found in estate sales or thrift stores the pieces may have once lived in a smokers environment but were cleaned thoroughly once they reached our home.
