This is an ORIGINAL VINTAGE STATEMENT BROOCH that was made during the RETRO period of the 1940s. It is made from 18K PINK GOLD with PLATINUM ACCENTS. The brooch is set with a combination of 33 OLD MINE CUT & OLD SINGLE CUT DIAMONDS of H-I-J color, SI to I clarity that weigh approx. 2.59 ctw. The largest diamond is an OLD MINE CUT DIAMOND that weighs approx. .65 ct. and it has a chip near the edge that is not noticeable. One of the diamonds is a brilliant cut replacement.
The brooch is detailed with 11 NATURAL EMERALDS that weigh approx. .82 ctw. This BOW & RIBBON BROOCH measures 3-1/8” long by 2” at the widest point. There are a couple tiny scratches/scrapesnicks in the gold that I had a hard time photographing (see last pic) and there are old solder marks on the back where the pin is attached. The total weight is 31.5 grams! THIS IS GORGEOUS and WILL NOT GO UNNOTICED!
