VINTAGE FOLEY FOOD MILL NO 101 RICER STRAINER 7” 2 QUART MAPLE HANDLE & KNOB

Here is a very nice early Vintage Heavy Duty Foley Food Mill

Extra Strength, Tin Coated Steel Construction, Maple Hardwood Handles. Much more robust than the newer ones you find at the Goodwill which are mostly relatively thin steel. Circa early 20th century: Smash, Mash, Crush, and Mush!

One of my favorite chores as little kitchen troll was to run a box of saltines through our Foley to make breading for oysters which we had a couple times per years.  I hated the oysters, but loved the Foley. Otherwise it was kept out of sight tucked back in the rear of the pots & pans cubby.  I can actually remember longing for it!

The Kitchen is the Center of the Universe

From the beginning, we have always kept great vintage kitchenware on hand including vintage cookbooks, knives and sharps of all sorts, sweet old linens, interesting slicing and dicing machines, pots and pans, coffee & tea pots, tableware, and all kinds of quirky and odd-ball tools and things to stuff in your gadget drawer!

And, I'm never surprised when a customer tells me they are buying an old kitchen tool as a gift for a young whipper-snapper who thinks they know everything! So, have a cuppa and enjoy a little browsing my Kitchen Corner and keep coming back....
