Produced in 1985 in a Limited Edition of 5,000, this Royal Doulton Character Jug D6739 depicts a HAMPSHIRE CRICKETER dressed in a dark blue cap and cream sweater with dark blue stripes. Commissioned by the Hampshire Cricket Club to celebrate the centenary of the Hampshire cricket grounds.
Hand painted in England. Approximately 5 inches tall (about 12.5 cm). Designed by Harry Sales. Fully marked on the bottom with the Royal Doulton trademark.
Because I am selling more than one of these character jugs, the number on the bottom of the one you receive may not match the one in the photo.
EXCELLENT CONDITION: no chips, cracks, repairs, scuffs or crazing. "Like new" but no box.
