These batteries will last at least 8 + years and 130,000 + miles. If you car is in good enough shape to last at least 100k miles or more and you don't want to change your battery many times. This is the Lowest cost per mile! Rebuilt with new Toyota modules. If you are a high mileage driver you should put in a battery that you can expect to go 200,000 miles with! Also this is the battery for high resale value. MSRP Toyota battery is: $3806.74
It is not a rebuilt battery with older modules that will start to fail after a year or so. (These are new modules, new bus bars and new connection nuts.) Plus we improve the cooling air flow.
Order by 3:30pm Pacific Time Monday thru Friday and this battery will ship the same day via Federal Express ground. Ignore's estimated arrival dates you will get it sooner!
I have installed a
triangular wedge (see picture) so the space below the modules gradually
decreases and the air flow between the modules is more even. With out
this the air is forced to the end of the pack and most of it goes
between the modules that are farthest from the fan. (I know from seeing where the dirt gets deposited, between the modules at the farthest from the fan. The gaps between battery modules have progressively less dirt as they are closer to the fan.) This is the way Gen
1 cases were designed and is vastly superior to all the more recent
cases but it was probably more expensive to make and perhaps a little heavier.
Brand new Gen 1
Toyota Nimh (Nickle metal hydrate) modules. These batteries modules are
good for at least 130,000 + miles. Gen 1 modules originally leaked
electrolyte due to bad o-rings. Despite this they still lasted from 8 to
10 years. The o-ring problem has long since been fixed. They do not
have the metal coating on the sides, however I am
more than making up for that by improving the airflow between the modules.
If you also clean your fan and install a filter (included) to keep it clean and clean the filter regularly these battery modules could easily out last the car.
New
Toyota modules battery and with new or clean connectors and new connection nuts.
If you are a high mileage driver (Uber, Lyft etc.) this is the battery
for you as the cost per mile is actually less. If you car is in good
shape and can stay on the road for at least five more years this is also
the battery for you.
To help you Prius last as long as this battery we included is a write up on reducing oil burn in the engine. This will promote engine life (cleaner oil) and catalytic converter life. Enabling you to keep your Prius on the road for MANY more miles.

was very helpful, he made the pickup super easy and the battery fit
like a glove, my Prius runs like new once again, thanks!
I
purchased a Prius C Hybrid battery with new modules and it is working
great! Was getting 34 mpg when old battery died; now getting 55 mpg with
the new battery. Instrumentation (Dr. Prius) shows all module pairs
working well and temperatures in battery are nominal. VERY pleased with
purchase!
To good to be true?
We will provide a detailed picture of the battery that clearly shows the
serial number of each battery module (stick). We will also provide a
Toyota tech tip that shows how to read the manufacturing date from the
serial number. That way if you sell your car you can show the
new buyer you bought a new battery not some rebuilt battery that will be
useless in a few years. If that is not enough you can take the cover
off the battery so you can see your new battery and the serial numbers.
The battery does not come with a fan or the battery computer. You will need to move these from your existing battery. The fan can be cleaned with a garden hose just hold the motor at the top and spay water down from the inside to the outlet.
