An exceptional copy not often found as such with minimal signs of reading wear. Only notable issue, the front art piece page is a bit undone as pictured, glue has aged and the thick cards took just seems to have separated from it imo.

Note on Edition: The true first edition/first printing of "The Eye of the World" (first book of the Wheel of Time) was only printed in about 2000 trade hardcover copies and maybe about 20,000 trade paperbacks in 1990. (A few trade paperbacks were modified into hardcovers when demand was higher than expected.) The series went on to be immensely popular and "The Eye of the World" was reprinted numerous times in generally the same design as the original hardcover and trade paperback issue throughout the 1990's. Jordan died before finishing the series. Fantasy writer Brandon Sanderson was asked by Jordan's family to finish the final volumes
