FALL/WINTER:
Provide at least 6 hours of light
Check water needs every 3 to 5 days, taking care not to overwater
SPRING/SUMMER:
Never plant a dry plant
Plant in well-drained soil
Loosen root ball, if needed
Plant level with soil. Do not plant too deep
Keep soil away from the crown of the root ball
To maintain a healthy plant, water early morning so foliage and buds can dry before evening
Provide good air flow
Fertilizing:
Spring/Summer
During the first growing season feed with a liquid only/low nitrogen fertilizer, such as fish emulsion
Apply to a well-watered plant every 4 to 6 weeks
Late Fall, apply little to no nitrogen fertilizer such as bone meal. This will help next year’s growth
If planted in the Fall, wait to fertilize next Spring
Compost/mulch can steal nitrogen from your plant. To counteract, you may need to increase the nitrogen level
Stop fertilizing 6 to 8 weeks before the first typical frost date
Your local soil conditions have a lot to do with the nutrients. Adjustments to the PH level will ensure best fertilizer uptake
Correct soil PH levels are between 6.0 – 6.5 for roses. A soil test can determine this for you
For growing your plant and plant care, we suggest researching on an .edu website pertaining to your zone. For example...www.clemson.edu

For some plants, colder months and shorter day light hours can cause green foliage to turn red, purple, orange, pink or yellow. It is possible to see remnants of this on your plant
*We reserve the right to remove, if any, declining parts of the plant before shipping*
