This is a rare vintage tin metal serving bowl featuring the iconic ‘Spice of Life’ pattern, made in Japan. A perfect addition for collectors of CorningWare and vintage kitchenware. The bowl measures 10 1/4 inches and is adorned with the ‘Spice of Life’ pattern, known for its vibrant vegetable motifs. It reads ‘A La Francaise’ and ‘Made in Japan/Fabrique au Japon,’ indicating its unique production history.”

The bowl overall is in good vintage condition with some cosmetic imperfections due to age and wear.  A couple cosmetic blemish spots and dents, discoloration spot on rim, back has rust area around the rim, and there are wear scratches on both back and front. Please look at the photos and video to see condition and features before you purchase.

The ‘Spice of Life’ pattern was introduced by CorningWare in the 1970s and quickly became a beloved design. This bowl, made in Japan, complements the CorningWare pieces and is a rare find for collectors.” I do not know the history or specific date, but it looks to be a collaboration between Japan for France.
