Valerian is a cold season perennial that is ideal for sowing in cooler weather!

* Valerian, also known as the sleep herb, has been used for centuries as a medicinal herb.  Its efficacy as a sleep aid or potential cure for Insomnia has been widely documented.

* Valerian can be a catnip replacement for cats

* Valerian is a Non-GMO, Open-Pollinated herb that is often combined with other herbs to create a relaxation inducing tea.

* It is very fragrant and is commonly used in complex perfume recipes.

* It attracts pollinators like butterflies and bees.
