Very good vintage condtion. You might mistake it for new!
Franciscan Ware was produced at the Glendale (later Los Angeles) plant, which began life as the Pacific Art Tile Co. in 1902. Gladding-McBean chose the name "Franciscan," feeling it was symbolic of California's early history. Production of Franciscan earthenware ceramics with its brilliant glazed colors began in 1934. Franciscan china was introduced in 1942.
Buyer to note that not all vintage cermics do not meet modern requirements for food usage.
