Chicago Swimming Medal Lot Pin Ribbon Tribune Park District Catholic Athletic League

Item Description:

Up for sale is this lot of vintage swim competition medals.

Includes medals from the Chicago Catholic H.S. Athletic League, the Chicago Tribune Swim Meet, and the Chicago Park District's Area Athletic Awards.

Medals are in fair to good condition.  They were stored on display foam, which has caused some damage to the backs (shown).  The fronts are mostly good, with some green around the edges, and/or oxidization.  The ribbons and pinbacks are all intact for those that had them originally.

Circa late 1960's & early 1970's, this lot includes events such as the 25-yard, 50-yard, 100-yard, & 200-yard distances in the butterfly, freestyle, individual medley, back stroke, etc.
