For your consideration is an early ALICE LC-1 pistol belt in a size Medium. It is in used, very good condition. In fact, it looks as though the belt was hardly used. There is black paint that was somewhat sloppily applied to the right adjustment buckle to hide places where the finish wore off. All of the grommets are present and the hardware is serviceable. Most notably, there is no red discoloration from exposure to UV light.
Following its dissatisfaction with the Davis buckle, the U.S. Military returned to the tried and true brass hook and ball buckles for its pistol belts. The LC-1 series in the early 1970's featured these old buckles until the adoption of the plastic slotted buckles with the LC-2 series that served from the late 1970's through the 1990's.
