Tight, flat, square staple bound booklets in paper wraps with 66 hymns typical to the era which were sung at funeral services in church and at the grave: the booklet was issued in navy embossed card stock with gilt title and frame with a large blank area to be custom printed as requested by the Funeral Director. Tight, clean, flat, square. Staple slightly rusted. Pages clean and white. 

Rodeheaver was born in Ohio, and raised in Tennessee, returning to study at Ohio Wesleyan where he learned to play the trombone, served as a cheerleader. Wesleyan remains a religious oriented college. He left College to serve in the 4th Tennessee during the Spanish American War and went on to become the music director for Billy Sunday elevating the Revival Tent to the traveling entertainment it became. In 1913 he began a recording career with Victor Talking Machine, and this was when he branched off into music publishing.
