Wonderful vintage Valentine! Great to frame, perfect for scrapbooking, fun to collect. A vintage Valentine's Day card makes a unique, thoughtful gift (especially tucked into a greeting card with a personal note).

Front of Card: Vintage Valentine for a child - thin paper, heart-shaped, opens for message inside. Photo on front of card -- a little boy plays soldier with a toy gun and paper hat, while a little girl watches from a wagon. "Valentine Greetings."

Inside Card: Picture of cupid. Printed in USA. Verse:

"I'd like to wear a soldier hat
And own a gun; but more than that
I'd like to guard you every day
And chase the other girls away."

Note that the verse originally said BOYS in the last line and sender crossed out and wrote GIRLS.

Back of Card: Names written in ink

Vintage: 1920's

Approximate Height of Card: Almost 4.5"

Condition: Some wear fold edge top of Valentine. Word crossed out with notation inside card ("boys" changed to "girls"). Names written on back of card. No envelope.
