Yellow Hot Jalapeño (Capsicum annuum) is a vibrant, spicy chili pepper that stands out for its yellow color and moderate heat. It typically rates between 5,000 - 10,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), similar to traditional green jalapeños but with a slightly more fruity and citrusy flavor profile. This pepper adds a bright visual element and a balanced heat to salsas, pickles, and other dishes. The plant grows to a height of about 24-30" and produces an abundance of 2-3 inch peppers. It has a bushy, compact form with dark green leaves and white flowers that turn into the yellow peppers as they mature. The peppers start green and turn to a deep yellow when fully ripe. The plant is well-suited for garden beds or large containers and performs best in full sun with regular watering
