These survey post cards were including inside many of the 1950s and 1960s record albums produced by Elektra Records, and were used for comments which the customer might have regarding the album itself, where the customer had purchased the album, how the customer had heard about the album, plus whether customers had purchased (or were planning to purchase) some of that "new-fangled" stereo equipment, as well as a means of adding names to a mailing list for future catalogs and advertising.
