Synopsis: Madame Zora, the mysterious clairvoyant, must have been 6 feet tall, and she was gauntly thin and narrow and so hung about with necklaces and floating, gauze scarves that she had the appearance of an uncompromisingly angular, cast-iron lamp standard, that had been elaborately clad in black crape for some important funeral. She was to involve Janet Sandison and her husband in a series of events, uncanny, semi-tragic or just plain hilarious. By the author of The 'Reachfar' Novels: Camerons on the Train; My Friend Muriel; My Friend Sandy.

Defects: Dustjacket has small dings/rubs; book spine ends are bumped; pages have light age-tanning; spine has a slight slant. DJ is protected in clear poly cover.
